The HEPA High-Volume V-Bank is designed for HVAC systems where airflow demand and available static pressure are critical design constraints. The V-Bank mini-pleat geometry provides approximately 291 sq. ft. of filtration media area and supports 2000 CFM at 1.05 in. w.g. initial pressure drop.
The recommended final pressure drop is 2.00 in. w.g.. Always verify the filter pressure-drop requirements against the AHU fan curve, available static pressure, airflow requirement, and existing filter-bank design before ordering.
HEPA filters are available with different frame and header designs to match the existing filter housing or holding frame. Choosing the correct frame style is important for proper installation, sealing, filter support, and maintenance access. Always match the replacement HEPA filter to the existing housing design rather than selecting a frame based only on nominal filter size.
HEPA filters must be ordered and matched by their actual dimensions, not nominal dimensions. Incorrect measurements can result in installation misfit, return shipping fees, restocking charges, and project delays.
Before placing your order: Verify the actual width, height, and depth of your existing HEPA filter and confirm compatibility with your filter housing. This simple step can help prevent misfit issues, unnecessary return shipping costs, restocking charges, and installation delays.
The appropriate EN 1822 grade depends on the required particulate removal efficiency, application, cleanroom classification, airflow requirement, and HVAC system design.

Optional PTFE membrane media is available for applications requiring increased moisture resistance, chemical resistance, or specialized pharmaceutical and semiconductor filtration requirements.
The V-Bank configuration and mini-pleat media arrangement provide a large effective filtration area within the available filter-bank footprint.
Hot melt bead separators maintain consistent mini-pleat spacing throughout the media pack and support stable airflow distribution.
The downstream Neoprene gasket is designed to establish the housing face seal on the clean-air side of the filter.
Integrated side handles provide a convenient gripping point for safer and easier filter replacement in large V-Bank housings.
AccuraFil HEPA High-Volume V-Bank filters are designed for commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and mission-critical HVAC applications where high airflow and controlled pressure drop are important requirements.
The V-Bank mini-pleat design is particularly suited to facilities where high air change rates, large HVAC airflow volumes, and limited static pressure budgets make conventional deep-pleat HEPA configurations less suitable.
E10 and E11 configurations can be used for high-volume industrial pre-filtration applications where maintaining high airflow within the available static pressure budget is a primary requirement.
H13 and H14 configurations support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, GMP manufacturing, aseptic processing, and ISO cleanroom applications requiring individually tested high-efficiency filtration.
H13 configurations support healthcare applications requiring high supply-air volumes, including operating theatres, isolation rooms, and critical care environments.
E11 through H12 configurations provide high-volume particulate control for facilities where energy consumption, airflow, and pressure drop are important alongside filtration performance.
Every AccuraFil HEPA High-Volume V-Bank filter is individually scan tested according to EN 1822 rather than relying solely on batch or statistical sampling. Testing evaluates the finished filter across its face for media-pack, frame-seal, and gasket integrity.
Test results are documented and affixed to each filter, providing unit-level traceability for pharmaceutical GMP records, cleanroom validation, healthcare commissioning, and other controlled-environment applications.
EN 1822 classifies high-efficiency air filters using Most Penetrating Particle Size (MPPS) efficiency. The AccuraFil High-Volume V-Bank product family spans E10 through H14, allowing the same high-airflow V-Bank platform to serve multiple filtration requirements.
Efficiency values at 0.3 µm are also provided for reference when comparing HEPA and legacy filtration specifications that use fixed-particle-size efficiency.
The HEPA High-Volume V-Bank uses a mini-pleat V-Bank configuration with approximately 291 sq. ft. of media area and supports 2000 CFM at 1.05 in. w.g. initial pressure drop. This provides higher airflow capacity and lower initial resistance than the deep-pleat HC and SC HEPA designs.
The HC HEPA is rated for 1700 CFM at 1.10 in. w.g., while the SC HEPA is rated for 1200 CFM at 1.10 in. w.g. The appropriate configuration depends on airflow requirements, pressure-drop limits, available installation space, efficiency requirements, and maintenance priorities.
When replacing a HEPA V-Bank filter, verify the actual filter dimensions, V-Bank configuration, EN 1822 grade, required airflow, initial and final pressure-drop limits, frame material, downstream gasket arrangement, and compatibility with the existing filter housing.
For high-volume HVAC applications, confirm that the selected filter configuration is compatible with the AHU fan curve and available static pressure budget before ordering.
AccuraFil provides industrial and commercial air filtration solutions for facility managers, HVAC contractors, mechanical engineers, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare organizations, cleanroom professionals, data-center operators, and procurement teams.
